Another Cert
I am so relieved after 4.5 long years, I have finally finished my bible college! It is the hardest to finish 1-year-course. Can you believe it?? I wanted to finish in 1.5 years, in the end it became 4.5!! Embarrassing.
I just realised I have quite a few certs previously. Piano Certs, Sony Video Animation Cert, now Cert IV in Christian Ministry and early next year I will receive my next, Cert II in Makeup Artistry. What’s all these certs for huh… feel good for the moment but kinda useless actually.

First job
This is my first job after I graduated. I had the privilege to do a makeover for 3 bridesmaids and 2 mother of the bride for Dave & Li’s wedding. It was a real test because I normally take 1-1.5 hours to do 1 face, but now I only have 4 hours to do 5 people. I had to wake up at 5.30am to start my own makeup and get ready for pickup to the location.
It was such a big rush and I was sweating like crazy throughout! Haha no shower and I had to put on my dress straight after. My back and legs were giving way as I’d been bending down for 5 hours. Yea it stretched to almost 5 hours. I was shaking at the end too because I hadn’t eaten since, and my first meal was at 3pm.
Hui Li was the most relaxed bride ever! She even organised our transportation, made sandwiches for us, organised our lunches and only got dressed 15 minutes before she walks out! I was the one who is running around like a headless chook and freaking out. Haha Dave you’re so blessed to marry her.
I enjoyed the wedding so much. It’s the most relaxed and fun wedding ever! All tiredness and stress were shortly forgotten. =)
These photos are just pre-photos and can’t really see their makeup. I’ll be getting some closer shots later when Jon finishes the wedding photo edits.

To start with…
The course was only $1,500 which isn’t much for a Cert II. They are very professional and the trainers are very well experienced. Some worked on the sets of Wolverine and Daybreakers!
Therefore I must say, I did not only not regret this, I am very glad I picked them to study with.
The equipment and products that come with it though, are very expensive! I spent $2000+ on brushes, essential tools kit and makeup kit. Some of the first few items I bought…
2 months passed
Beginning of the year, I set myself out for some goals to achieve this year. One of them came a little too late and I was already feeling very tired by the end of it. I had to postpone my makeup course to October since I changed my plans to go New Zealand.
These 2 months have been so exhausting and trying, yet fulfilling because I passed all my 4 exams!! Fashion, Bridal, Mature and Photography!
I will put the photos up of my journey and hope it’s a new side career start next year on.
